January 15-16, 2018 -- Update on Trump and "Maria" story

Update: The Wall Street Journal reported a $130,000 Donald Trump hush payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels, aka Stephanie Clifford, just before the 2016 election and about the time that Katie Johnson withdrew her lawsuit. Johnson alleged in two law suits filed in federal courts in California and New York that Trump and billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, convicted of a felony in Florida for sexual molestation of an underage girl, raped her and a girl known as "Maria" in Manhattan in 1994. Johnson was 13 at the time and Maria was 12. WMR and the Justice Integrity Project in Washington, DC jointly broke the story last week that Maria was kidnapped from in front of Nash's pizzeria in Waterbury, Connecticut in March 1993.

As to Trump's hush money to Daniels, she denied such a payment was received, although it was confirmed by others. Another porn actress,
Alana Evans, claims she was invited to Trump's hotel room to "party" with Daniels and Trump. The incident occurred in March 2006, shortly after Trump's wife Melania gave birth to their son, Barron.

Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, who is closely connected to various Russian-Jewish mobsters, reportedly paid Daniels the $130,000. Yet a third porn actress,

Jessica Drake, claims in her previous allegations that Trump groped her some ten years ago at a golf tournament, offering her $10,000 and the use of his private plane if she would come to his hotel room. Drake reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement with Trump that stipulates she is not to ever mention Trump's name. There are reports that similar NDAs were signed with Daniels and Evans.

The salacious allegations, which were illustrated on Jan. 13 by the adjoining front-page cover of the Murdoch-owned New York Post, also reported on Trump's disparaging remarks at the White House about immigrants from what he reportedly called "shithole" nations.

Trump's former chief strategist, Steve Bannon, is quoted in Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury" tell-all book about the Trump inner circle that Trump's real estate attorney, Marc Kasowitz "took care" of 100 women during the 2016 presidential campaign, the intimation being that either Kasowitz paid off the women or threatened them with legal action.

Daniels was to have had the story about her and Trump published in The Daily Beast. However, she backed out of the deal on November 3, 2016, just five days before the election. The day before, November 2, Johnson and her attorney, Lisa Bloom, abruptly canceled a live news conference that was to have been broadcast on Facebook. Bloom cited several threats received by Johnson and her family for the cancellation and withdrawal of the law suit, for which U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams had scheduled a pre-trial conference in Manhattan on December 16, 2016, the day the Electoral College formally elected Trump president. Abrams previously ordered Trump and Epstein to personally appear in her courtroom.
